Job Summary
Seasonal Maintenance Technician role supporting day-to-day maintenance operations in a student housing community, including service requests, unit turns, inspections, and grounds upkeep. Responsibilities include completing routine service requests, maintaining cleanliness and safety, supporting unit turns and move-in readiness, coordinating with supervisors, documenting progress, and participating in on-call rotations. Requires hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction, strong customer service and communication, ability to follow written/verbal instructions, and availability for weekends and overtime; must have own basic maintenance tools and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 months of related maintenance experience or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC certification as required by local regulations
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Must have own basic maintenance tools
- Availability for weekends, overtime, and on-call rotations as required
