Job Summary
Conduct cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, residential areas, and common areas, including make-ready units. Perform office organization, administrative work, and daily exterior clean-ups of breezeways and grounds. Participate in unit inspections and report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Execute additional tasks as directed, including painting, fixing, building, sorting, and miscellaneous activities. Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors while adhering to posted work rules and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness and desire to learn
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, carry, push, and pull for an extended periods of time
- Able to be an effective team player and interact well with others
- Patient, even-tempered and works well under pressure
- Effective time management skills
- Able to follow directions from a supervisor
- Able to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
- Able to accept constructive criticism
- Able to climb and work from ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy load
- Able to work weekends or overtime as the job requires
