Job Summary
Deliver fuel locally to residential and commercial homes and businesses daily while maintaining the delivery truck through regular inspections and maintenance reporting. Manage customer service interactions and account for funds and inventory using a handheld terminal. Operate a Class B CDL vehicle with required endorsements under safety protocols, including English language proficiency standards for highway communication. This seasonal role offers a monthly bonus up to $1,000 plus competitive pay, with training provided to assist in obtaining necessary endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs
- Exceptional customer service skills
- English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- ability to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- ability to respond to official inquiries
- ability to make entries on reports and records
