Job Summary
Haul grain, dry and liquid fertilizer, and associated materials between farm locations and company hubs while maintaining a clean, efficient truck and trailer. Operate a semi tractor and trailer safely, perform daily vehicle inspections, and monitor vehicles for maintenance needs. Assist with vehicle repairs, complete daily log sheets, and communicate with dispatchers, shop personnel, and regional supervisors. Follow all Landus Cooperative safety policies, state DOT rules, and federal driving laws. This seasonal role supports the Collins and Mitchellville hub locations with local runs allowing home every night, requiring a Class A CDL and DOT physical.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Class A CDL with required endorsements
- able to obtain one and maintain current DOT physical
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
