Job Summary
Operate a semi-tractor and trailer to deliver non-hazardous materials to customer sites across complex routes, ensuring safe and efficient execution. Drive in accordance with DOT regulations, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and complete required delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports. Connect and disconnect trailers, perform product transfer loading and unloading, and report accidents, incidents, or equipment issues promptly. Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries, offering guidance to Associate Drivers as needed. Work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential availability Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)
- Have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience
- Must meet age requirement
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and trailers
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- travel and time away from home as required by the schedule
- Must pass pre-employment screenings, which may include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse
