Activate room keys using an electronic key machine and reissue new keys to guests as necessary. Communicate to staff regarding guests waiting for available rooms, advise guests of messages, and send them to their rooms if required. Accommodate room change requests when possible, supply directions and information regarding property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest. Tag, store, and retrieve luggage from storage while providing proper claim tickets. Identify and explain room features, arrange transportation for guests or visitors, and respond to all guest needs and requests. Ensure outstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priority and are resolved. Follow all company policies and procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, assist individuals with disabilities, and speak using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
