Job Summary
Seasonal associate at Family Farm and Home responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and accurate product information across departments, assisting with merchandising and the register, supporting store management, and aiding with BOPIS orders. Duties include maintaining store cleanliness and safety, executing promotions, loading merchandise into vehicles, aiding customers in locating items, and contributing to a positive work environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Requires basic product knowledge and strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an hourly, seasonal role.
Required Qualifications
- A Family Farm and Home seasonal associate must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
- A successful seasonal associate will be a strong team player yet still be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Seasonal associates need to have knowledge of basic computer systems
- They must contribute to a positive working environment for all team members
- They must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to lift up to 50lbs
