Job Summary
Utilize Salesforce to manage and track incoming tax law questions from H&R Block tax professionals while reviewing and responding to inquiries by applying current tax law knowledge. Identify when questions require further analysis and escalate to Tax Research Analysts as needed, communicating primarily through chat to ensure responses are clear, professional, and timely. Gain exposure to a wide range of tax topics by working directly with preparers supporting clients. This seasonal, full or part-time remote role provides training in Salesforce and tax research, with flexible hours during the upcoming tax season.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus, and perform assignments in a highly detailed and accurate manner
- Demonstrated tax law knowledge with strong analytical and research skills to interpret and solve complex issues
- 1 year minimum related work experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
