Job Summary
Seasonal Tax Expert – Retail On-Site at a TurboTax location in Yonkers, NY. Provide hands-on tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support for customers in-person and virtually, helping clients maximize refunds and plan for future tax needs. Lead local outreach and events to grow TurboTax’s client base, serve as a trusted advisor, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. Must hold an active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with PTIN and have 3+ years of tax preparation experience using professional software. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus. On-site availability required; position is seasonal/temporary with flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Active credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with PTIN
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must reside within the United States
