Job Summary
Seasonal Tax Expert – Retail On-Site at a TurboTax location. Provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software/product support to TurboTax clients in-person and virtually. Build and nurture a local client base, lead community outreach and events, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience while leveraging Intuit TurboTax tools. Requires active EA/CPA/practicing-attorney credentials with PTIN, 3+ years of tax-prep experience (1040s), familiarity with Circular 230, and eligibility to work in the United States. On-site at a TurboTax location in Addison, TX, on a seasonal basis; nonexempt with potential for flexible scheduling within the assigned region.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with PTIN
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
