Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive outreach and community events. Provide full-service tax preparation, including hands-on advice, calculations, and software support for personal and business income, deductions optimization, and tax planning. Deliver exceptional in-person and virtual customer experiences by addressing inquiries, building trust, and helping clients achieve financial goals. Work onsite at a TurboTax retail location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, utilizing professional tax preparation software and CRM tools to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
