Job Summary
Assist Swim Instructors in delivering Learn-To-Swim lessons under the American Red Cross curriculum; support safety and progress evaluations; help design well-structured lesson plans for each class session; provide feedback to instructors, participants, parents, and guardians; maintain participant notes and ideas for future classes; participate in in-service trainings; ensure cleanliness by checking bathrooms, trash, and the deck during downtime; perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Age Requirement: 14 years and older
- Possesses or working towards High School diploma (or equivalent)
- American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid (JCC will assist in obtaining these certifications)
- Possesses basic water skills and exhibits a strong sense of maturity and responsibility
- Must be able to assist, communicate, and work with people of all ages
