Job Summary
Seasonal Stock Associate supports store operations during peak season by processing incoming merchandise, stocking and organizing stockroom, preparing products for display, and replenishing the sales floor. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, unpacking, preparing items for display (steaming, folding, hanging), sorting by product categories, determining placement between sales floor and stockroom based on inventory and store needs, maintaining a clean and accessible stockroom, collaborating with management to prioritize tasks, following safety guidelines, assisting with physical inventory counting, and performing additional duties as assigned. Required skills include strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts; available part-time schedule with 4-8 hour shifts; compensation is $17-$19 per hour with weekly pay and employee discounts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or stockroom experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of retail inventory processes
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, and walking
- Ability to use ladders or step stools as needed
