Job Summary
As a Seasonal Sous Chef at Chateau Ste. Michelle, you will be responsible for preparing and designing food and drink menus, ensuring quality and timely kitchen operations, and managing kitchen staff. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, Food Handler’s Permit, and over five years of Sous Chef experience. The role demands skills in kitchen management, problem-solving during emergencies, and knowledge of cooking methods and safety standards. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Food Handler’s Permit required
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a Sous Chef
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- Ability to provide accurate and quick solutions when handling emergency situations
Desired Qualifications
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct
- Fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies
- General knowledge of various computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Point of Sale Systems (POS) or restaurant management software
