Job Summary
Operate power industrial trucks to down-stack pallets, unload incoming shipments, and load outbound freight while scanning items into the warehouse management system. Manage inbound and outbound logistics by moving inventory from docks to staging areas, processing returns, and verifying bills of lading against purchase orders. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure workspace safety through daily cleaning and organization. This seasonal role supports critical warehouse operations at Wineshipping, a premier logistics provider for the wine industry, with a focus on fast-paced, independent work in a climate-controlled environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years working knowledge and expertise in Forklift operation, maintenance, order processing, receiving, replenishing, and returns
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid understanding and knowledge of inventory practices
- Familiar with WMS applications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal process instructions
- You may need to work beyond your regular work hours and occasionally on a weekend, if needed
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- 1-year customer service experience
- Bilingual welcome
