Seasonal Sanitation Technician

Job Summary
Conduct plant cleansing, sanitation, and pest control activities using high-pressure water hoses, shovels, and 5-gallon buckets to discard waste. Operate safely around chlorine products and sanitizing chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment. Monitor and report any product, equipment, or safety issues to the immediate supervisor to maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. Maintain a healthy work environment through active participation in safety programs and company training. Perform duties on 2nd and graveyard shifts in Cedar or Alluvial locations with 24-hour notice flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand/walk on feet 95 % of shift.
- Must be flexible in schedule and able to work in Clovis and/or Fresno plant (24 hours' notice).
- Must be punctual and regular attendance is required.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to use PPE (personal protective equipment) (PPE equipment provided).
- Must be able to follow and understand all company and regulatory product quality standards, sanitation standards, food safety standards, employee safety and environmental standards.
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protection equipment and adhere to dress code as outlined for working in a food manufacturing facility.
- Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. and physically be in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Sanitation experience is preferred, not required.
