Job Summary
Seasonal Sales Associate at Hot Topic in a mall, delivering an engaging in-store experience for fans of music and pop culture. Responsibilities include providing product knowledge and outstanding customer service, stocking and replenishing products, merchandising the store to be visually appealing, operating the register and driving add-on sales (including BOPIS and curbside pickup), executing planogram changes, communicating fashion and music trends to management, preventing theft, maintaining an organized stock room, and contributing to a team-focused environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods, handle merchandise up to ~50 pounds, and be at least 16 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Previous retail experience
- Strong customer service and selling skills
- Able to navigate a store and use approved equipment
- Able to handle and unpack merchandise (up to 50 pounds)
- Commits to Avenger-like collaboration and clear communication with team
