Job Summary
Coordinate fall harvest operations by running grain carts and managing bin site tasks to ensure timely and efficient completion. Assist the Farm Manager and Row Crop Team with logistics while executing special projects as directed by Summit Agricultural Group management. Operate large machinery safely and efficiently, adjusting to changing weather and harvesting conditions. Work flexible hours dependent on weather and field needs, performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Valid Class A CDL and production agriculture experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate large machinery safety and efficiently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adjust to changing conditions
- Valid, unrestricted Class A CDL
- Must be able to lift or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have the ability to drive a vehicle for a prolonged period of time
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must have use of both hands to utilize tools and controls
- Must be able to climb stairs
