Job Summary
Seasonal Retail Sales Associate at Lowe's emphasizing customer service and store operations. Responsibilities include executing Lowe's customer service policies, assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise, processing contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, cross-training in store areas, identifying security risks and reporting them, maintaining housekeeping and safety standards, operating store equipment as needed, and communicating product features, warranties, and program details to customers. The role requires basic computer and retail technology experience, strong customer-relations skills, and adherence to safety and loss-prevention practices.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- Pay Range: $16.00 - $16.15 per hour starting pay rate may vary based on location/experience
