Job Summary
As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will utilize our industry-leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs, learn the Safelite Way of Fitting under guidance from experienced technicians, and repair chips, cracks and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles. You will manage work orders and customer documentation through Safelite’s Mobile Resource Management (MRM) system, promote Safelite promotional items, maintain cleanliness in the customer vehicle and shop, safely operate company vehicles and tools, and comply with all policies and standards. This seasonal role involves working in a shop-like or customer-site environment with potential driving duties and flexible hours to accommodate customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (Preferred)
- On-the-job training / Safelite SafeTech certification (Required)
- Valid state-issued driver's license (Required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to work scheduled days with flexible start/end times
- Ability to read, write, and interpret English and technical directions
- Safety and professional appearance requirements
