Job Summary
Provides SMART customer service at Lowe's by following policies, assisting customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise; answers questions by guiding customers through projects; explains stock, special order merchandise, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs; writes contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs in the Tool Rental Department; cross-trains in other store areas to enhance customer service; detects and reports shoplifting or security risks; maintains housekeeping and safety standards; operates store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, copier, cash registers, CCTV); maintains safe work environment and follows safety requirements (top stock safety, safety cables, blockers, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
