Job Summary
Seasonal Receiver Stocker role at Lowe's in Yakima, WA. Key responsibilities include providing SMART customer service at all times and guiding customers through Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs; assisting customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise; answering questions and walking customers through projects; processing invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs in Tool Rental; cross-training in other store areas to enhance customer service; detecting signs of shoplifting and reporting to management; maintaining store cleanliness and organization; following safety procedures including daily safety reviews and use of safety devices; operating store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, copiers, CCTV system, tool rental equipment); and adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping
