Job Summary
Conduct quality control and project management for custom monogram orders by removing pockets from garments across varying fabric types while preserving product quality. Maintain exceptional attention to detail using seam rippers, rulers, and pins to ensure customer satisfaction during daily production. Balance multiple projects efficiently to achieve reasonable output based on the daily mix of garment styles. This temporary seasonal role requires overtime and possible weekends through peak demand, with a starting pay of $18/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential for the second shift. Petite Plume, a high-growth luxury sleepwear company, offers initial training for this self-starter position within their Richmond, VA warehouse.
Required Qualifications
- Must have previous experience working in high-capacity production roles
- Must be detail oriented and meticulous
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be available for weekend dates through peak
- Must be able to work during the weekend of Black Friday into Cyber Monday
- Must be able to work through the end of December
- Must be able to work full-time hours
- Must be able to remove pockets from garments of differing fabric types
- Must be able to preserve the quality of the product
- Must be able to check for quality assurance
- Must be able to achieve reasonable production output based on daily mix of production
