Job Summary
Transcribe press conferences and interviews, teleprompt live studio shows, and produce video elements for ABC affiliates and SportsCenter. Research and brainstorm creative ideas to communicate with content teams while distributing scripts to talent. Work nights, mornings, weekends, and holidays supporting the ESPN NEXT Program from August 10, 2026, through May 15, 2027, or upon logging 1500 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Conversational knowledge of multiple sports, especially sports heavily covered within ESPN content during the contract timeline: Football, Basketball, Hockey, and Baseball
- Ability to comfortably prepare and communicate ideas
- Professional communication and organization skills
- React quickly and positively under tight deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Self-starting attitude and team-oriented work ethic
- Will be scheduled to work nights, mornings, weekends, and/or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Awareness of ESPN content (i.e. platforms, shows, events, etc.)
- Awareness of media trends (i.e. social, digital, linear, etc.)
- Experience with video editing software (i.e. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut etc.)
- Fluency in Spanish
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
