Job Summary
Operate stock pickers and reach trucks to pick, pull, put away, stack, and count merchandise in narrow aisles up to 40 feet high. Input data accurately using handheld computers and radio frequency equipment while navigating the furniture, bedding, and fulfillment warehouse. Safely work with harnesses, report equipment failures or accidents promptly, and maintain a positive environment through collaboration and customer-focused service. Prioritize speed and accuracy while handling merchandise with care and tidying workstations at shift's end. Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required for this seasonal role.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Comfortable with heights while on power equipment raising self, equipment, and merchandise up to 40ft in the air
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 75lbs
- Prolonged periods (up to 12 hours) of standing/walking around the facility or department (excluding breaks)
- Ability to use, hear and see safety/emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck (PIT) warning devices
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Power Equipment experience preferred but not required
