Job Summary
Operate industrial trucks, including stock pickers and reach trucks, to navigate narrow aisles and move merchandise up to 40 feet high for picking, pulling, putting away, and counting. Input data accurately using handheld computers and radio frequency equipment while adhering to safety protocols and reporting equipment failures promptly. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive environment, greet coworkers, and prioritize customer service by packing orders thoughtfully and tidying workstations at shift end. Work flexible day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts with regular attendance, lifting items up to 75lbs and standing for prolonged periods. Join a supply chain team supporting Macy's fulfillment operations and memorable holiday events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and People Leaders
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable with heights while on power equipment raising self, equipment, and merchandise up to 40ft in the air
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 75lbs
- Prolonged periods (up to 12 hours) of standing/walking around the facility or department (excluding breaks)
- Ability to use, hear and see safety/emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck (PIT) warning devices
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Power Equipment experience preferred but not required
