Job Summary
Greet guests, answer product questions, and recommend merchandise to drive personal sales goals. Assist with checkout, bag purchases, and prepare items for alterations while maintaining a clean, shoppable store. Manage visual merchandising by displaying new freight, handling price markdowns, and ensuring sales floor sizing. Operate cash registers, balance drawers, and process payments, exchanges, and returns. Monitor for security risks, conduct bag checks, and follow loss prevention guidelines. Recruit new teammates, train staff, and maintain a positive floor culture. Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and major holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 30lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and jump; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to occasionally sit
