Job Summary
Operate a mosquito control spray truck to safely and effectively execute surveillance and preventative services across assigned zones. Thoroughly spray areas per contract supervisor instructions, accurately record mission data on log sheets, and utilize GPS monitoring equipment nightly while reporting any malfunctions. Handle and apply all chemicals strictly according to label specifications and Safety Data Sheets, maintaining proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and enforcing company safety policies. React promptly to changing conditions and handle essential tasks as assigned while ensuring all equipment remains clean and operational.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information in both internal and external settings
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be capable of lifting and using items such as chemical containers and application equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Must be able to maintain the licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
- Must agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc., possibly including Workday, Loop, and HireVue
