Job Summary
Seasonal Packaging Operator on 3rd shift at the East Plant. Responsibilities include performing safety checks on equipment, operating forklift to transport materials, maintaining housekeeping, learning multiple automated pieces of equipment, communicating with peers and supervisors about line performance, conducting manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure quality of granular packaging products and display units, and adhering to plant safety rules. Requires ability to stand for long periods, repetitive motion, and dexterity; English literacy; ability to read/write; lifting up to 50 pounds; and willingness to work overtime including weekends/holidays. High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year production experience are preferred; ability to follow instructions and participate in a fit-for-duty program is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one plus years of production plant experience (preferred)
- Must be able to drive a forklift
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to read and write English and/or follow instructions
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays
- Must pass the minimum fit for duty physical (annually)
