Job Summary
Pull boxed product from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders by reading orders, identifying items by number and description, and operating electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and forklifts. Palletize completed orders to prepare for shipment and reclassify product using the WMS process while maintaining food and employee safety guidelines. Perform basic housekeeping and sanitation duties during slow periods and assist in training new employees. Occasional travel to other warehouses may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to accurately count and review customer orders for accuracy
- Must be able to operate powered equipment such as: Forklift, or Electric Pallet Jack
- Must have the ability to use computers/scanning technology
- Must have the ability to accurately read, count, and match numbers
- Must be able to operate powered equipment in a safe manner
- Must be able to stay on task and be self-motivated
- Must apply food safety and employee safety guidelines in all performance measures
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
- Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate powered equipment safely is required
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Both mandatory and voluntary overtime will be required to meet business needs
- Schedule is subject to change with or without notice
- Occasional travel to other warehouses may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Must have the ability to accurately read, count, and match numbers
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is helpful
- 3-5 years previous experience operating Forklift and/or pallet jack is ideal
