Seasonal Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct daily facility operations in Herman, Minnesota, including general labor duties such as cleaning, sweeping, grounds maintenance, and warehouse work. Prepare trucks and railcars for loading and unloading by sampling, loosening nuts, opening hatches, and managing automated scale/dump systems. Load and unload agricultural inputs using heavy or light duty machinery like loaders, conveyors, and tractors while monitoring load-out functions and maintaining inventory quality. Perform regular maintenance tasks including lubrication, equipment inspection for leaks, and spill cleanup to ensure a safe, organized work environment. Work Monday through Sunday with 12+ hour days during peak season through late October or November.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins
- Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
- Must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Agriculture experience preferred
