Job Summary
Greet guests, ascertain their interests, and make sales recommendations while presenting merchandise to increase add-on sales. Demonstrate ownership by cleaning, re-stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory counts and merchandise placement. Describe product features, benefits, and uses; keep current on promotions, sales, and events at the speedway. Assist the Gift Shop set-up team with merchandising, plan-o-grams, and fixture cleaning. Read and implement plan-o-grams; maintain excellent accuracy using POS systems. Work 20-30+ hours weekly, including weekends, overtime, and extended hours on event days.
Required Qualifications
- Honesty and integrity in all actions and language
- Must be able to take constructive feedback &make necessary changes
- Excellent customer service and selling skills
- Be willing to work extended hours on event days
- Must be able to work weekends & overtime as needed
- High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in comparable company
- Accuracy in open & close procedures
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Innovative & self starter, who can work independently and as part of a team
- 20-30+ hours weekly
- Flexibility in Duties & responsibilities as needed in other areas
- Must be able to read & implement plan-o-grams
