Job Summary
Monitor and operate production lines within a 10-line operation, learning additional lines to improve flexibility. Perform daily cleanup, conduct equipment checks, and visually inspect and maintain pipe printers for continuous operation. Execute quality checks using measuring tools, identify and remove scrap pipe, and report issues to proper personnel. Operate pipe bundling equipment, overhead cranes, and forklifts with in-house certification. Follow all safety requirements and maintain a pro-safe work environment. Work 12-hour shifts (8:00 to 8:00) in a 7/24 facility, with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 graduate
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms
- OFA Level II first aid
- Forklift certification
- Must be able to work any shift in our 7/24 facility
- Must obtain a general knowledge of the extruders and related equipment, including material loaders hoppers, and pigment feeders
- Must be able to identify and remove pipe deemed as scrap, and properly document and report as required
- Must be trained and certified(in-house) to operate a forklift and maintain certification for the duration of employment
