Job Summary
Seasonal Laboratory Technician responsible for analyzing samples in the lab, preparing samples (leaf hops, cryo products, pellets), and performing moisture analysis by air oven or distillation. Requires following SOPs, maintaining lab cleanliness, adhering to safety regulations, and contributing to process efficiency. Works as a laboratory team member under the Laboratory Manager, with duties including safety participation and ensuring compliance with HACCP, cGMP, and company policies. Must have strong attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Role situated in Yakima, WA, supporting environmental and quality policies.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Chemistry, Biology, or related field; or related experience
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member
- Follow SOPs and verbal instructions
- Familiarity with lab equipment operation and SOPs
- Ability to wear PPE for extended periods
- Handle hazardous chemicals safely according to MSDS and SOPs
- Examine documents, materials, and products; monitor processes for conformity to standards
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee
