Job Summary
Manage day-to-day housekeeping department operations by conducting daily inspections of guestrooms, front of house, and storage areas to ensure standards are met. Develop procedures for key control, lost and found, and equipment maintenance while monitoring the departmental budget, revenue, and labor costs. Select, supervise, train, and schedule staff, ensuring timely follow-through on guest requests and addressing unsafe conditions immediately. Evaluate guest complaint trends to implement corrective actions and maintain security of all supplies and inventory. Participate in the Manager on Duty program as needed and communicate updates across all departments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years housekeeping experience in a similar environment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand Spanish and English
- General management skills, including time management, information analysis, planning and organizing, decision making, problem solving, and delivery of results
- Financial management skills, including budget management, expense control and analysis of Profit and Loss statements
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping lead/supervisory experience
