Job Summary
Seasonal housekeeping duties in a school-district setting: perform floor stripping tasks (buffing, scraping, vacuuming, rinsing), vacuum carpets, mop tiled areas, wax floors, dust furniture and surfaces, clean whiteboards and sinks, and assist with grounds keeping (mowing, weed whacking, mulching, planting). Schedule is Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (approximately 30 hours/week) at $18/hour; must be 18+ to apply; position runs June 22, 2026 to August 21, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- Hourly rate: $18.00
- Location: Windsor Locks District
- Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (30 hours/week)
- Move furniture up to 35 lbs
- Move deliveries up to 35 lbs
- Floor care tasks including vacuuming, waxing, scrubbing
- Dusting of furniture and surfaces
- Grounds keeping tasks (lawn mowing, weed whacking, raking, etc.)
