Job Summary
Conduct thorough room presentations and assist guests with luggage delivery, pick-up, and storage during arrival and departure. Greet guests within five feet using their last names and the salutation of the day, while opening vehicle and hotel doors and providing directions, taxi assistance, and local amenity information. Correctly tag individual bags, deliver messages and guest amenities, and maintain cleanliness and order in the guest services area. Ensure all luggage is safely transported to assigned destinations and complete tasks as instructed by the Account Manager. Maintain professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Must be able to read and write standard English language
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Must be able to write simple correspondence
- Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
