Job Summary
Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades, and proper account selection for customers. Manage errors and adjustments to tickets, process load out tickets, and handle invoicing for customer/cash load out tickets. Communicate with settlement, origination, and operations staff regarding collected information and weight/grade data. Provide basic customer service by answering phones and addressing inquiries about elevator hours and ticket details. Assist the operations manager and office staff with filing, reporting, and maintaining the scale operation area. Maintain proficiency in the Scale System to generate reports and manage ticket processes from start to finish.
Required Qualifications
- Proven computer skills
- Track record of working effectively with customers
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to travel when necessary
- Ability to work hours beyond those considered normal when necessary
- Acceptable background check
- Acceptable drug test
- Acceptable motor vehicle report
- Acceptable reference check
