Job Summary
Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound, outbound, and transfer tickets, managing weights, grades, and proper account selection for customers. Perform duties related to customer cash load out tickets including invoicing and recording container information. Communicate with settlement, origination, and operations staff regarding weight and grade data in a timely fashion. Assist the operations manager and office staff with filing, reporting, tidiness of the scale area, and other assigned duties. Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service while answering phones when other staff are occupied. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work independently, and flexibility to work beyond normal hours.
