Job Summary
Seasonal Grain Operations Worker responsible for hands-on grain handling and receiving, including unloading trucks, operating grain handling and receiving equipment at truck dumps, and loading/ unloading during harvest. Duties include inspection of trucks, general housekeeping of bins, pits, and equipment, and supporting PLC-based rail shed operations. Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple site areas, following procedures, maintaining safety, and adapting to peak harvest schedules as part of a team. The role emphasizes a strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a labor-intensive agricultural setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Previous grain operations experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
- Ability to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Safety protocols adherence
