Job Summary
Dump and load trucks and trains, prepare railcars for loading/unloading, and operate heavy machinery including loaders and forklifts. Monitor load-out functions, control automated scale/dump systems, and conduct daily maintenance tasks such as lubricating pumps and inspecting equipment for leaks. Keep work areas clean and safe by performing housekeeping duties, snow removal, and grounds maintenance while maintaining inventory quality. Work extended hours from Friday through Monday during the fall harvest season. Report customer complaints, repair needs, or safety concerns immediately to your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins
- Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
- Must meet minimum age requirement
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Agriculture experience preferred
