Job Summary
Receive, unload, and load grain from trucks and railcars while operating equipment such as conveyors, legs, and augers. Assist with sampling, grading, and quality control procedures, then monitor storage facilities and perform routine inspections and basic maintenance. Maintain a clean work environment by completing housekeeping duties and accurately documenting all operations. Adhere strictly to company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures. This seasonal role offers competitive pay with overtime opportunities during peak harvest, providing hands-on agricultural experience and potential for future full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak harvest seasons
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in dusty environments and varying outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to safely work at elevated heights and around moving equipment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous grain handling, agriculture, manufacturing, or equipment operation experience
- Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills
