Seasonal Grain Handler

Job Summary
Load and unload trucks arriving at and leaving the facility, ensuring all outbound loads are loaded properly. Assist with daily grain movement within facilities and perform monthly inventory as directed. Maintain equipment in good working order through minor maintenance tasks and keep the site neat and clean per FCS and OSHA standards. Observe and follow all safety procedures while handling grain to maintain quality and prevent accidents. Communicate effectively with customers and employees, and assist other departments as needed. This seasonal role operates in a fast-paced agricultural setting with irregular hours, including weekends and holidays during peak season.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and employees
- Ability to operation mobile equipment
- Possess mechanical skills to perform minor maintenance tasks on grain equipment and property
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
- High level of customer service focus
- Observes safety policy and procedure
- Attitude of positivity and reacts calmly under pressure
- Work ethic of the highest integrity
- Commitment to dependability and willingness to work to meet goals and deadlines
- Effectively solve problems of grain department
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to maneuver on and off a mobile equipment
- Ability of close, distant, color and peripheral vision
- Accurate depth perception
