Job Summary
Conduct basic grain elevator operations including receiving, weighing, grading, and loading grain according to contract specifications. Accurately weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain, enter data into scale computers, and blend and load out truck grain. Maintain facility cleanliness, perform yard maintenance such as mowing and snow removal, and assist with routine equipment inspections, lubrication, and repairs. Clean bin bottoms, monitor grain quality through inventory measurements, and operate the grain dryer if applicable. Participate in train loading and accept additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors. Schedule runs from September 15, 2025, through the end of the season.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Basic understanding of machinery operation and dry material handling
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and perform accurate weight and inventory measurements
- Basic computer skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work as a team member
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers
- Valid driver's license
