Job Summary
Receive grain, accurately weigh and grade inbound and outbound material, and load out according to contract specifications. Maintain facility cleanliness, perform yard maintenance including mowing and snow removal, and assist with routine equipment inspections, lubrication, and repairs. Operate grain dryers if applicable, blend and load truck grain, and participate in train loading. Monitor grain quality, record inventory data, and notify the grain hedge desk of all purchases. Clean bin bottoms and address grain or dust leaks immediately. Maintain accurate documentation for housekeeping, maintenance, and safety while complying with all safety policies and employee rules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have a basic understanding of machinery operation and dry material handling
- Must have the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and perform accurate weight and inventory measurements
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be self-motivated and able to work as a team member
- Possess the ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers
- Valid driver's license
