Job Summary
Conduct grain handling for incoming, stored, and outgoing grain while maintaining quality, blending, and drying services. Manage housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and rolling stock under Facility Manager direction. Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations while providing professional customer service. Maintain company equipment, adhere to the Uniform Policy, and perform related duties as assigned. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel overnight, and willingness to work extended hours and on-call rotations in extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or experience in a related agricultural field
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Understanding and willingness to learn grain handling
- Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment and vehicles
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary
- Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
- Willingness to work in noisy conditions
- Willingness to work in conditions including dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards
- Ability to work at varying heights including climbs on grain bins, legs, etc.
- Ability to lift 51 - 70 lbs
- Acceptable and job-related background check
- Pass drug test
- Pass motor vehicle report
- Pass reference check
