Job Summary
Conduct grain handling operations for incoming, stored, and outgoing grain while maintaining quality, blending, and drying services. Perform housekeeping duties, ensure compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations, and maintain equipment, rolling stock, and facilities to professional standards. Provide professional customer service and operate under the direction of the Facility Manager. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel overnight, and willingness to work extended hours and on-call rotations in extreme weather.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or experience in a related agricultural field
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Understanding and willingness to learn grain handling
- Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment and vehicles
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary
- Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant
- Lift 51 - 70 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred basic computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance grain handling
