Job Summary
Seasonal part-time Golf Course Starter / First Tee Host responsible for organizing tee-time flow, communicating pace-of-play expectations, and delivering exceptional first-contact service to members and guests. Duties include managing the first tee schedule, guest check-in, activity sign-ups, tee-time reservations, maintaining supplies (scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers), supporting Pro Shop operations and outdoor staff, and ensuring the course and clubhouse areas remain clean and guest-ready. Requires a welcoming, professional demeanor, strong verbal/interpersonal skills, ability to work independently within established policies, comfort working outdoors in varying weather, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds. Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of golf game, rules and etiquette preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred and must meet company driving requirements if operating company vehicles
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed
