Job Summary
Process mail and electronic gifts by inputting donations into the Virtuous database and preparing receipts. Assist the full-time Gifts Processing Associate with daily processing tasks while maintaining database accuracy for marketing and donor wishes. Respond to donor and staff requests in a timely, customer-service oriented manner to ensure personal data is handled with security and integrity. Work Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the October 2026 to February 2027 seasonal period at a rate of $17–$20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and a testimony of continued growth in faith
- Embrace the Portland Rescue Mission ministry culture of being a Highly Relational, Christ-Centered, Joyful Servant
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote the culture, values and mission of Portland Rescue Mission
- Understanding of Excel formulas and creating files that will export donor data
- Composed and professional customer service
- Strong team player
- Experience in Mac and Microsoft Windows software
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. unassisted
