Job Summary
Move completed pallets from production lines to staging areas for shrink wrapping and truck loading. Operate the forklift and shrink wrap machine safely while performing accurate inventory counts in freezers. Retrieve triple stacked product and load trucks efficiently, maintaining high safety standards and freezer cleanliness. Work in 12-hour shifts within temperature ranges of 45-60 degrees or 15 degrees, lifting up to 45lbs. Adhere to the Code of Business Ethics and utilize lean tools to facilitate continuous process improvements. Accountable for product flow, equipment, and property.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to count product
- Completed simple paperwork
- Certified as a forklift operator
- Ability to lift and stack product up to 45lbs
- Ability to work in room temperatures of 45-60 degrees
- Ability to work in freezers at 15 degrees
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Ability to work in an unfatigued state
- Ability to accurately gauge lengths of time and distance
- Ability to quickly store and recall instructions in short term memory
- Ability to concentrate and perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment
